Seasonal Variations

During the summer months the temperatures can be very hot. Early morning and later afternoon trips are more desirable during the hotter weather. Also, afternoon thunderstorms can be unpredictable so offshore trips leave early and return before the afternoon thunderstorms become an issue. Sunburn is a concern year-round round so dress to protect yourself from the sun and apply sunblock often.

Sunset trips can be very relaxing, and even during those days with afternoon thunderstorms, the boat will depart the dock after the weather has cleared making for a very enjoyable trip.

Winter is one of the most unpredictable times for weather with cold fronts. You could be in warm weather clothing when leaving and searching for a jacket or coat during the trip. Spring and Fall offer variable conditions and like any outdoor activities we try to follow the local weather forecasting. We will do our best to help with weather forecasts so that you can be prepared to be comfortable.

All trips are weather dependent and can be canceled and/or altered at any time by the captain. Please communicate with the captain for specific times for your charter.
